Speak Up Today!Write to your elected officials this summer to insist that the Maryland Transit Administration provide transit options that will not destroy this important link on the Capital Crescent Trail. The state is scheduled to decide on a preferred alternative by mid-October 2008.
- Tell your representatives to take the Georgetown Branch off the table, because transit and pedestrians won’t work here!
- Urge them to examine alternatives that would actually serve more people, cost less and get more cars off the road.
- Let them know that now is the time to rethink the Purple Line!
